The people in Chiloe are incredibly generous, open, and warm-hearted. I always laugh when I go to introduce myself and I receive the universal, Si, po! Pasa no más! Come on in, po (i.e man/che/buddy/honey)! which usually entails a long chat, once (tea time), and often an invitation to spend the night!
